been to a couple jails to visit ppl...... been to a couple prisons on tours.... volunteered in a juvenile jail in college

never been locked up.. im good.

I've been in a police car. I didn't do anything wrong though.

I'm trying to think if I've seen someone in jail? Maybe I've repressed it.

my son (10) has been picked up by the police twice.

once whilst in the custody of his NCP he decided to walk home from the shops and was found by neighbours who called the police. he was maybe 2 years old.

the second time when he decided to ride his bike to find his da. i figured that after 4 hours i should involve the authorities. he was 7 that time.

oh and yes ive visited people in jail and i have tried to repress it.

Came close to getting arrested once though

no, but a close family friend has just been sentenced to three life sentences [without a minimum!!!] despite sufficient evidence to create reasonable doubt that he didn't do it.

Never been arrested, but one of the times we had our names taken when I was around 15 the cop just happened to know my Dad. That was pretty annoying.

I've only been to jail to visit clients on a few occasions. I also went on a tour of the Eddyville, KY maximum security penitentiary. I sat in the electric chair. It was prett wild. Eddyville prison is where the Sharon Stone prison movie was filmed. The one where her character was on death row. I can't remember the name of it.

While there we also visited death row and saw the prisoners on death row. Their common area was inside and fenced in so they were totally separate from the rest of the prison population. However, another attorney on the tour was allowed to talk through the fence with one of her clients.

We then went out into the prison yard and walked around in the midst of all of the prisoners. It was wild. I never imagined that we would be allowed to have such close contact. I kept a look out on the towers to make sure the guards were paying attention.

This was several years ago. I don't think the local judge is doing those tours any more. It was only for the local bar, and quite interesting.

I should have been arrested for peeing in public. We were at a Dave Matthews Band show at DTE in Clarkston MI and the line for the bathrooms was waaaaay to long so my buddy and I decided it would be a lot faster to Pee off this random little bridge thing thats there. keep in mine everyone walking to and from the bathrooms are walking by use while we do it. We did kind of play it off pretty well though we just unzipped and acted like we were standing against the rail. We even did the "HEY LOOK MOM NO HANDS!!!" bit. I thought for sure we were going to at very least be thrown out of the concert but we never got caught.

I spent the night in jail. When I was young, I was a little stupid.
I was charged with Possession of a hand gun with intent to use.
It was only a Co2 Pellet gun with needle points. They break the skin and freakin hurt but they will not do any real harm.
I also grabbed my Brass knuckles.
It was b/c I got jumped by five guys and right after it happened i ran to my place around the corner grabbed it and went after them. By this time the cops were called, they were pulling up as I was running toward them. I saw the squad car and ditched it, then they tackled me and locked me up. Thank god I dropped it b/c they said they would have shot me.
I was super pissed for what they did to me and I wanted revenge. Ofcourse I was extremely wacked on Yagermiester and kind buds so that did not help.
They called my father b/c they new him as a local businessman and he would not come get me so the next day I called my mother and she got me out.
Dumb kid.
But.... I met some cool people when I had to do weekends picking up trash on the side of the road with the prisioners. lol.

I got 120 hours community service back in 02, nearly went to jail. Been overnight in a police cell but that was nothing really.
