So who else picked this up yesterday? I've been looking forward to it for weeks. Lots of bonus features - I haven't gotten to the 2nd disc yet.

  • One of my favorite movies and I don't yet have a DVD. I guess the 10th anniversary addition is a good opportunity.

Yes, they have interviews with several of the actors (Bridges, Goodman, Turturro, etc.) ten years later, and there's a whole second disc which I haven't even looked at yet.

    details?

It's in the middle of November, the 15th & 16th. I've been regretting going since My Morning Jacket played it a few years ago. It looks like an awesome time.

What the fuck does anything have to do with Vietnam?

And an expression I say to my opinionated guitar player:

I'd venture to guess that I may be the only person in this thread to have actually seen that film in the theater...Boogie Nights made me crush on Julianne Moore hard so I had to see this, and it turned out to be unbelievably funny. Sure enough 2 years later everyone at school is watching it on DVD.

I saw it in the theatre but it certainly benefits from multiple viewings. Funny how it's such a cult classic but really didn't do that well at the box office, but I guess that might be the definition of a cult classic.

are there deleted scenes? What's there to entice me beyond the directors/actors commentary -surely there is one- and the interviews. Haven't got this on DVD so I'll probably be getting it.

I'm gonna have to pick this up. what's on it? I bought a special edition of Lebowski a few years ago and the only special feature it had that the regualr DVD didn't was a gallery of photos taken by Jeff Bridges on the set. hopefully there's more to this.
