Idol Gives Back

I know some of yous think Idol is cheesy
but this is to benefit needy children and families!

and,
they had on Heart performing Barracuda. With Fergie. Seriously.

I believe they will put the performances on ITunes and you can purchase the singles to benefit the charities.

    its cool that the show is "giving back" i still hate it, and think the show is one of the biggest things wrong with the music industry.

    anyway, it is cool they are trying to do some good.

    I saw Bono and Miley Cyrus....I'm waiting for Brad Pitt to come on...YUMMY!! ;)

    yeah that's Ann, she did get big
    Nancy is married to Cameron Crowe (who wrote Singles! And Almost Famous. Wait did he write them and direct them?)

    anyway
    yeah there were rumours Fergie was pregnant but not in those pants, I don't think she is!

    I never watch this show but I am at my moms house and have no choice. It's nice what they are doing, but why and how is Miley Cyrus successful?!? Holy shit! I know this isn't the best thing to be watching after seeing EV 3 out of the last 4nights, but give me a fucking break!! Rant over. :)

    Mama Mookie is fine, thanks! :) hell, I'm a little jealous of seeing Mike last night and I was there!!! I'll be back to the city next Wednesday at this time and I can't wait!!! Family is great but I'm running out of polite ways of saying that there is no way in hell that I'm moving back!!!

    I never watched Idol except for the finale shows, but my mom and friends were so into it, I checked it out and it does get addictive

    but ever since they voted Chris off I stopped watch. He was phenomenal on the show
    then apparently someone told him he should emulate Nickelback and he's super famous! Go figure!

    i'm not going to lie, i'm hooked on idol this season. i'm a big fan of jason castro, the one with the dreadlocks. he has a jack johnson vibe going for him and he's so goofy. pretty sure he's been high on more than one occasion in his idol interviews. :p

    i'm pretty sure they can revoke my 10c membership for admitting this... :D

    Nancy Wilson is a goddess with a guitar. I'm probably going to go see Heart this summer. They are tourning with Journey and Cheap Trick. Just seeing Heart will be worth it.

    Speaking of Cameron Crowe, I caught some of "Fast Times at Ridemont High" (Crowe wrote it) last night on HBO. That movie is such a classic.

    He wrote the screenplay and the book that it was based on. Not sure if it is true or not, but I read that he actually did research for the book by spending 1 year posing as a student at a High School in San Diego. The book is out of print and used copies on line start at $45. It must be quite a collector's item at this point.
