it's almost as exciting as the Sex and the City movie! Woo hoo

but I can't believe they are still talking about his sister? That dialogue seems so weak and forced.
and why's he being so nasty to Scully? Geesh!

by the way, in real life Gillian Anderson is pregnant with her 3rd child!

No need to be void, or save up on life...
You got to spend it all
  • The clips look good, so hopefully the film will be like a good fun monster of the week episode. However I really didn't like the forced dialogue between Scully and Mulder about his sister. Come on people, give it a rest.

I wonder if this film will end with the X Files being shut down... again ;)

Now I swear, if I hear the word "truth" come out of Mulder's mouth more than twice in this whole movie, I will track his fictional ass down and kick it between his shoulders.

I cringe every time I see the title of this movie 'I Want to Believe'. Can't we come up with a better title?

    Tooms

    Jersey Devil

    Fearful Symmetry

    Darkness Falls

    Squeeze

    Die Hand Die Verledzst

    Red Museum

    The Host

    Fallen Angel

    Darkness Falls

    The Field Where I Died

    Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'

    War of the Copophrages

    Pusher

All of these are better titles and I've just picked them randomly from my memory bank.

    LOL :D

The title of the movie is Chris Carter's fault. Maybe you can take 'em both out with a single kick to the groin.

Same here. It looks promising from the trailer I saw at the theater.

    True.

At least the first one, Fight the Future *cringe* was an original title.

On reflection though, if this one's designed to turn a new generation onto the X Files who aren't aware of the slogans, that's OK.

Eh, I thought it was neat how they used "I Want To Believe". Chris and the gang did that for hardcore fans. I just hope there is better acting than that scene with Mulder and Scully talking. I cringed when Scully mentioned his sister, but if you watched the show, Mulder was always looking for her. ALWAYS.
