now I'm on like soft and squishy food diet, which is a bummer :( I had a pint of haagen dazs bailey's ice cream for dinner.
which ordinarily would make me happy, but it didn't help :(

thanks sos! it was done thursday but it still hurts

Remember I told you the whole quandary I was in b/c the dentist said it should be pulled and my 'root canal guy' said to do a root canal?

well I went to another dentist for a 2nd opinion as the tie breaker b/c I was confused, and she said at first to do the root canal, but she started to make me a temporary bridge

and I went home and I was like in ungodly excrucriating pain afterwards, so I called back the next day and she said it had to be pulled, and that was it.

It was not pleasant but at least it's over. I have to wait 8 weeks for it to heal and then I get the permanent bridge. Blech :(

thanks LM, I hope so! :(

I agree, I inherited not great teeth. My mother had dentures at 30! and my Grandma had problems too. I love to eat so teeth problems are a particular bummer.

I'm feeling ya on this one, I got all four wisdom teeth pulled not too long ago. Definitely agree with LM's suggestion.

  • Yesterday I had gum surgery and today I feel awesome. I was so afraid to do it that I almost canceled, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I have to do 3 more of the same procedures.

I don't like visits to the dentist's office either, but I appreciate their expertise.

    Hope you feel better, Allie

depends how old you are. whether the teeth are out, I would still reschedule either way. you'll probably still be somewhat swollen, maybe still have some pain, and the singing and everything that goes with a show might hurt or bother you in some way. be safe, reschedule

Allie, when I was younger, I had to get 12 (yes TWELVE :D ) of my baby teeth pulled out. my roots were huge, and wouldn't come out on there own. I would just do 4 at a time. hell of an experience I'll tell you that. the pain goes away. hope you feel better :)

I'm 18... so I think that makes it easier? I think i'll reschedule but I leave for college a week after i'd have the surgery so if something goes wrong, then... eeek. Whatever. I'll risk my moving in date for Eddie Vedder.
