I think the people that were expecting an album full of songs similar to the stuff Jeff writes in Pearl Jam are disappointed. Those people with an open mind probably don't mind it. If you fall under the later, you will probably find it pretty good.

Me, I think it's quite good.

I like it but it took me several listens. Then again, most PJ albums take me several listens too so not a surprise there. I think Jeff is a great musican with a unique style. One of the reasons I like the album is that I can see more what his style is like and what he brings to PJ.

I'm listening to the album rght now.
I've listened it 5 or 6 times last week when I received it but then I didn't listen to it until today.
And I have to say the album is rather good ! I like it. It rew on me.
Clearly, Jeff isn't a great singer and you find more beautiful melodies in PJ songs, but the album isn't bad at all like some say.

Well I have to say I really like it. The more and more I listen the more it grows on me.

I especially like Bulldozer (vocally a few similarities to Masters of Reality who are outstanding) and the Forest!

I could see PJ doing The Forest live!

I listened to it with an open mind, not knowing what to expect and I'm sorry to say it wasn't too great. I guess it is listenable but not very memorable.

The only album by the band or solo/side efforts of PJ members that i listened to and immediately liked was Into The Wild....all of the others took repeated listens for me, even Ten, Vs, and Yield (which i suppose are the most "accessible" albums)

Tone however (like ITW), stuck with me straight away. I love his songwriting in the band, and i actually like his voice, weird pitch but sticks in your head.

Its punk, its offbeat a little. Ive never heard Three Fish, but even so, ive heard Oceans, Jeremy, NAIS, Low Light and all the other ambient songs Jeff wrote for the band and still wasnt dissappointed. If you walk around with basslines to Hail Hail & Gods Dice in your head like i do then you'll like the album

i think it's solid. it took me a few spins to really get into it as well, but there's no denying jeff in his songwriting ability. i agree with the earlier post that said you can almost hear the whole band playing some of these songs. good record!
    I LOVE MUSIC.

It is very good. Alot of haters in here i see. 5 solid tracks.
"Give Me a Reason, " "Bulldozer" , "Relapse" , "The Only Cloud in the Sky", "Life of a Salesman".

Lyrics are subpar. Ill say that much. It has a nice indy grunge sound to it.

Better than what Stone has been putting out.
