Got a Christmas Bonus Thread

I work part time (full time student), earn $7.50 hr, and work at a warehouse. I totally did not expect a bonus and was especially surprised to see the bonus was a $100 bill.

I've only been working there for about 2 months, so I thought this was very generous. It feels good to know you are appreciated. Even in a crappy job like mine.

    Received a 6% time served raise, a promotion, 8.5% promotion raise, and I'll be getting a $250 gift card for my bonus. I'd say it worked out pretty well.

    i got 3,000 g's for helping save the company money. so i guess some good came out of firing devin after all.

    maybe i should call him, tell him that.

    My boss surprised me with a check for $4500 this morning....TOTALLY unexpected considering the last few months have been tough for us(and everyone). He said that I made his job as an owner very easy to do and this was his way of showing he appreciated me. I was humbled by not just the $, but the sincerity in which it was presented :D

    no xmas bonuses for me. I get a xmas party from the board of trustees. When i do get a bonus it's usually at the end of the fiscal year. If we did very good they will throw us some dough :) which is nice.

    We usually get one in December and in one in February.

    This year we might get one combined bonus in the Spring, maybe. :(

    Wow. I am jealous. I don't get shit and I work at the corporate headquarters for one of the most recognizable names in the country. We dont even get a holiday party!

    We're not getting bonuses this year...our operating costs were about at 48% and they need to be at at least 75%

    I worked in a betting shop at a racecourse last summer for 6 days and I opened my mail last week to find a Christmas bonus from them! :cool:

    I haven't got one yet last year was 3k in a check which I get hit for taxes. However I'm thankful just the same as we move operations to Palm Beach, FL. for the next 6 months.
