Looks like I'm now a member of the 10,000 posts club. So what do I get for my efforts? A beer? A badge? A life?

I should be around a bit more now as my new job requires that I only work 3 hours a day. :)

Are you a gigolo? :p

Here I was thinking we should adopt the four day work week but clearly three hours a day is much better.

I should be careful responding to this. I may find myself being carted off and shot in the back of an execution truck on the way to the airport, where my internal organs will be sold to the highest Japanese bidder for medical experiments.

Still, the food's not bad over here. And it's only 35p for a beer. :)

You get a hug from Boom.
    :)

I think I could handle that. And I'm sure I could persuade him to buy me a beer after the hug.

I bet anyone would crumble into his arms and just cry.
He seems like such a sweet guy.
Of course he would buy you a beer. He likes smart people. No messing with the fools for Boom.

I think it is customary at your 10,000th post to re-evaluate your life and priorities. There is a slight chance you have spent waaaaaay too much time in a band's message pit.

Yep, but then the majority of the time I've been on this messge pit has been whilst I've been at work, so when looked at this way you have to ask what the alternative would have been - I would have simply been wasting more of my time at my meaningless job, talking to morons on the telephone and putting up with pathetic office politics. Put simply...I'd choose the message pit over that shit anyday. If I hadn't had this place to distract me from the mundanity of work then I doubt I'd have survived in my London office job for as long as I did.
And the fact that I've largely been paid to chat to people on here and engage in some pretty interesting conversations doesn't really seem like such a bad thing in my book.
Still, I get your point. Everything in moderation...or something?!? ;)

Nah, you’re totally good. I was just kidding. It is certainly better than say clubbing 10,000 baby seals. Also, I have spent countess hours, at work, being paid to lurk in the PJ pit. It wasn’t until fairly recently that I actually started posting.
