this spring i went hand fishing, i guess "noodling" is the correct term. regardless, that event scared the shit out of me. sticking my hands into holes underwater on the bank of a river. simply the most stupid event i have done.

Interesting. Stupid like dangerous and dumb or stupid like that shit ain't gonna work in a million years? We used to wear snorkel masks and swim in the Big Wood River trying to spear fish with broadhead arrows. Worked pretty well.

Damn, that was stupid lol... I've seen people "noodle" on tv, and there is NO WAY that I would do that.

stupid...as in dangerous and dumb and that shit ain't gonna work the next day because i am not that hungry, beyond belief. the rivers here are muddy and the alligator snapping turtles will make you wish that your arm had been completely severed.
when i reached into the hole and felt the shell of the alligator....i was left speechless. even the catfish can remove layers of skin. i made it only because i was scared. so when i reached in and felt something, i retracted my arm swiftly.

Got'cha. Our rivers aren't so scary. Except for catfish and maybe a sturgeon, there isn't anything in our water that I'm afraid to grab. I did once go looking for a mother black bear and her cub after being warned that she was in the area. I wound up being chased...
