I work in marketing/publishing, and the company I work for wants to focus on the financial institutions (banks, insurance, etc) and we're all to come up w/ a good marketing strategy or medium that would get the average consumer to pay attention.
We typically work on printed newsletters and web right now but we're looking to evolve onto a better path. So here's the question. What do you think would be the next best way of drawing in a consumer's attention to read financial information? Mobile has come up as one idea, also e-newsletters. You guys are the future, what (beside the i-phone) do you think is the best advertising and marketing medium coming of age?

    bill boards and printed ad displays in high traffic areas-still get my attention

    and dont laugh, but over the urnials at high volume restaurants


    stuff sent to my email, or pop ups get deleted without pause.
