I don't know if any other californians here got walloped by the storm the last few days, but we sure did. 60+mph winds, trees knocked down everywhere, and over two-thirds of the town without power! ours went out at 5am yesterday, and it finally came on a couple hours ago! It was quaint and fun at first, me and the bf made dinner on the campstove, read by flashlight, etc. but going on day two with no heater and no lights was really starting to lose its appeal.
We're supposed to be getting prepared for round 2 sunday afternoon. wish us luck! anyone else have crazy weather stories?

Congrats on getting your power on. :)

I know here in the Bay Area, there were about 1 million people w/o power, but our town didn't get effected.

The winds on Friday were pretty crazy coming through here. At one point, I saw our street signs shake from the wind. Kind of reminded me of being in Texas during Hurricane Gilbert back in 1988.

Take care of yourselves out there in Chico and everywhere else.
