Thunderstorms. . .

are so cool

There is a certain feeling just before they strike. Everything gets so quiet and dark. I've been meaning to take pictures of them someday
I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

    they are very cool. 4 years ago i moved 20 minutes away.,..i must be elevated there or something cuz we get the loudest, brightest storms there and i love every minute of it!!

    I like when it really thunders and lightning

    also I like when it does it at the wee hours of the night. Something kinda comfortable with thunderstorms

    You know it's coming, yet you're always surprised when it suddenly gets dark and the storm breaks.
    You're safe inside, the world stops, and you relish the quiet before the world goes about its business once again.

    I like watching the storm from my open window, catching the curtains in the breeze, and wondering how long it will be before the wind pushes the rain inside.

    even when 'they' say there's going to be thunderstorms here, the never show up. think its just so they don't have to say 365 days a year "now, for your southern CA weather.....well it looks like its going to be 75 and sunny today"

    Yup! EXACTLY! I think it's funny that on our Fox affiliate they have the weather/traffic every 10 minutes! Umm...hello...there's no weather to report on! Night and morning low clouds and fog. Partly to Mostly Sunny.

    Had to drive through the shit that made Noah nervous to get to the show yesterday. Emergency flashers on, hydroplaning at anything above 35 mph, and not able to see 15 feet in front of you. Well worth it though.

    yeah like they'll pretty much give us the 5-day forecast whick looks something like this hi/lo 75/65 74/64 75/65 73/64 76/65....then right before commercial say "be right back with our 7-day forecast" I mean come on there's so many more 'foods that cause cancer' and shootings, and car chases they could be reporting on, right?

    I can't even imagine how it is to drive in it. I've been in some hard ones before but that's just walking in them

    Still I'd love to take pictures of em but there is this whole getting hit by lightning bit

    im very scared of thunderstorms....

    i bury my head in a blanket so i cannot see the flashes and put my headphones on so that i cannot hear them!

    I really don't like them, especially when I'm trying to go to sleep or when I'm woken by them in the middle of the night.

    I just like plain old rainstorms..minus the thunder.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
