I'd love to see a mountain lion in the wild. I've heard them, smelled them, seen fresh tracks and scat, but never actually seen one. I know they've watched me before. Sneaky fuckers...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

What is the place/thing you wanna see before you croak?
I haven't made a list, and perhaps I should think about it!!
I have a book (as many people do, I'm sure!) called "1,000 places to see before you die" and there really are a lot of good ideas in there...&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -

I've always been fascinated with Alaska and Machu Picchu since I was a kid. Saw Alaska a few years ago and it was amazing so Machu Picchu is probably tops on my list. Then probably Octoberfest in Germany.- Busted down the pretext

Also I'd love to see rural China."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -

Before I die, I need to do:
a scuba dive
a sky dive
a cliff dive
and a stage dive
all in the Maldives'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

Hehe. I'm sure I could come up with something big and colorful.
I had a chance as a younger man to meet the real Hayduke, but I had just started reading Abbey so I elected to go camping that weekend instead of attending his speech. A good friend of mine went and told me all about it. I've been kicking myself for the last 15 years. Hayduke's books are stellar as well. Walking it Off and The Grizzly Years are both great reads.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

I used to have 3 places I wanted to see before I died:
Heidelberg, Germany
York, England
St. Petersburg, Russia
I've been to Heidelberg and it's one of my happiest memories so now I have the other 2 left.
But I also visited Barbados just for a day in 2002 while on a cruise. We went to a beauty spot at the highest point of the island and stayed about an hour. It was so pretty and peaceful that I promised myself I'd go back again someday."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -
