    Where can I get it? Again, I'm thinking "Yum." I know they use Coke already so it's not an illogical jump.

    Wait, did I just ask you to confirm something that I may have heard before? How would you know?

    Well, I know.... and I also know exactly what article you read it in, on what date, and the specific time when you read it, down to the specific second.

    But first..... pick a card. Any card.

    An intriguing marinade and basting sauce for meat begins with Dr. Pepper soda. Great with steaks, beef brisket, chuck roast, and 7-bone roast.
    INGREDIENTS:

    * 1 cup Dr. Pepper soda (not diet)
    * 1/4 cup dark soy sauce
    * 1/4 cup lime juice
    * 1-1/2 cup vegetable oil
    * 1 tsp hot sauce

    PREPARATION:
    Whisk together Dr. Pepper, soy sauce, lime juice, vegetable oil, and hot sauce.

    Place beef in a heavy-duty freezer zip-top bag. Pour in marinade, squeeze out the air, seal tight, and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.

    Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Boil marinade for at least 5 minutes.

    Grill or roast meat to desired tenderness, using cooled marinade as a basting sauce.

    Yield: 3 cups marinade

    There. Now it's funnier that you clarified his use of cola for the roasts. Like we imagined your step dad using cocaine for roasts he was going to feed his kids. It'd be like eating at Rick James' house

    And for some reason, I can picture this as a possible Chappelle Show skit....think of all the possibilities he could have done with that set up.....
