Best Beach in NJ

I seem to notice a ton of people from the NJ area on this board and was wondering what everyone thought was the best beach in NJ.
I play a ton of beach volleyball over the summer and happen to like Point Pleasant the best. They have good amount of parking and if you get there early enough great FREE parking spots. The beach is VERY clean and wide open. There are public restrooms and private showers if you need them. There is also a lot of different places to eat on and off the boardwalk.
A close second would be Belmar. Super clean town with ample parking as well.

too many fools at these beaches , although i have never been there
Ocean city is a nice family place too.
long beach island is great too, but that is much further south than point pleasant. could take almost 3 hours from north jersey.

Cape May
and of course Atlantic City

screw jersey bathy
If I don't feel like driving far, I go right to Atlantic City. It's usually not too crowded since people go there just for the casinos.

I agree! Unless you like swimming with medical waste.
Gambling=a taxation on stupidity.
Remember, you can walk anywhere, as long as you have the time.

you even have an opinion on people who go to a place you've never been
someone is a little full of themselves aren't they
bullshit.
this problem, is NOT exclusive to NJ.
Some of the Cleanest Beaches are found in the North Eastern USA- and of course there aree always isolated incidents of waste being washed up on the shore.

i hear alot of stories
too many young-ins for my taste
i have many coworkers who have places down there
plus that mtv special was too funny
yes it was, haha....what clowns
thats the way it is lol
alot of young punks who think they're somebody
i know its not like that all over , but the hot spots are a def. no go
Wildwood is like that down here.
last time i was at seaside, a dead beat/white trash dad was picking his 3 year old son up and holding him upside down by his ankle and was spinning him around. and when he wasn't doing that, he was teaching the kid how to say, fuck/shit/asshole.
hahahahahahahha even thinking of that episode cracks me up
thanks for reminding me
routine was the theme..
there aint gonna be any middle any more
MTV also had a beach house in Seaside a few years ago.
Benny (according to the Urban Dictionary):
A term used to describe the pariah New Yorkers and obnoxious city folk who day-trip to the Jersey shore, clogging the streets, and cramping our beaches. how to spot a benny:
Men: NYY cutoff t-shirt, backwards NYY cap, tweezed eyebrows, polished fingernails, boombox cranked all the way up, cooler, large gold jewlery, Adidas's flipflops
Women: big and long hair with obnoxious gucci shades and other cranium accessories, polished French manicure with matching pedicure, globbed makeup, animal print handbag, platform flipflops
Fuck the shore its all about summer in the Hamptons. Two more weeks and its a Boardy Barn Sunday.
haha...first I heard of that term
We need guys like them, because u can look at these tools and say to yourself, "thank God I'm not that dude". It's quite refreshing sometimes!
I think LBI has nice beeches but my only complaint is one way in / one way out. If you get stuck on the bridge you will be there forever.
i thought i once heard that Benny stood for something.....digging way back into the memory banks for this one....could it be
Bayonne, Elizabeth, N?, New York?
is elizabeth even a place in nj? oh well
routine was the theme..
there aint gonna be any middle any more
You are correct:
B: Bayonne
E: Elizabeth
N: Newark
NY: New York
That is also a definition.
haha.. I met some girls from Bayonne out here on the beach in Santa Monica. They were pretty cool and hot... nothing like the definition of a benny.:D I'm actually good friends with one of them now. Bayonne chicks are cool in my book!!
go south to find an actual beach
