Is anyone else sick of him? I am listening to WFAN and Mike is replaying all of Sterling's calls from last night. I mean an A-Bomb from A-Rod, Robbie Cano don't cha' know, el Capitan? He is so shticky it is unbearable. I used to love the Yanks on the radio and now between an advertisement every 2 minutes, Sterling's antics and the annoyance of Suzyn Waldmen...I just can't stomach it anymore.
Hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the jon so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz? YEEAAHHH. I don't care if he is Mr. Notorious BIG, can he croon?

    I've always thought he sucked. He makes it more about him and his stupid sayings and antics than about telling what's going on to the listeners which is his frigin job.

    He's the radio version of Chris Berman.

    Red Sox are lucky to have Joe Castiglione. Jerry Trupiano was good but somthing when down with him and MGT.

    Usually Mike and the Mad Dog (at least Chris) plays them to make fun of them. I guess Mike would probably like them, being a fan and all.

    nope, not sick of him at all. i don't have a problem with his catch phrases and i don't think he keeps the listener uninformed during the game at all. what's he supposed to do after a home run is hit? "And there's a-rod, rounding first at a reasonable trot....touches second, on his way to third....boy, he kind of rounded third base a little wide, don't you think suzyn? girardi might want to talk to him about that. and with his left foot, he touches home plate!"

    i listen to him every night (i work nights, so i can't watch any of the games) and he calls every pitch, none missed. i think he's fine. suzyn....well, i'm not a fan of hers, but it's not like i can't listen to the game because she's in the booth. she actually has a very good knowledge of the game.

    you know his son Duke works down here, right? He used to be so great on NY1 and now he does the sports reporting on Channel 5 (our Fox station). And Reischea Canidate who is now on ESPN also used to work on our Channel 5.
    I agree about Sterling, I have a hard time listening to them at work as well, but I can't stand Suzyn Waldman even more so.
