Wake me up when September ends

Anybody else bummed that summer is over and school has started again. Days are shorter, darker earlier. No PJ shows on the horizon.....I have post vacation blues.

    aside from the lack of upcoming PJ.. I'm PUMPED FOR THE FALL!

    I hate hate hate the heat and humidity. I cannot wait for cool October days, leaves changing, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then the Holiday season.

    Ah, cheer up! September is the beginning of the best time of the year!!

    Me too! I LOVE FALL! Foliage is awesome. This is my favorite time of year.

    I love the fall, but I CANNOT STAND the first week- two weeks, whatever, of September. It is by far the worst of the year for me.
    I'm not even in school & I find the transition to be brutal (at best). Bring on October!~

    Yea you are lucky to have snow in December, we used to when I was a kid but now It does not come until February. Sucks, I would love to have a white Christmas. It will be better then ever this year now that my daughter understands what its all about...........kinda. :)

    I can't wait, I was in Florida for most of my life, so I'm looking forward to FINALLY coming to the Midwest :D

    wearing short sleeves in November was always a bit weird to me, lol.

    It is pretty tropical there in Jersey.. ;)

    Sometimes if we are super lucky, or super unlucky as the OP might feel, we get a flurry or two in October.

    When I lived in Bucks County, we got a lot of snow as a child, and now.. its what you say.. only you've got it worse, the Shore seems to pick up rain all the time. Hey, you've got ocean.. and in the ocean department you have me beat :)

    I swear, I am about to burn my summer clothes.. hate them all.. Give me black pants and a sweater ANYDAY!

    I've said it before and I'll say it again: FALL is the best!!

    Cooler weather! I'll take 75 degrees over 113 any day :rolleyes: (when it gets down to 60 I am in HEAVEN!!)

    yeah, I threw out like bags and bags of summer clothes that I won't need anymore, and bought a ton of sweaters and stuff. personally, I don't mind the summer- traveling, going to the beach, etc... it's when you sit home or go to work that it sucks.

    i'm with you. i love the fall, but it is so depressing for me saying goodbye to summer. waking up in the dark sucks, too.

    I can't wait for the end of the month. I'll be halfway around the world in the Philippines for my grandparent's 65th anniversary. Nothing like lying on the beach in the tropics for a week. ;)

    Definitely bummed, especially since this summer was by far the greatest of my life. Although I just started college and it's pretty awesome so far.

    Yeah, it kinda sucks because all the carefree fun of the summer is gone, but the weather is still brutally hot. Definitely tied as my least favorite time of the year along with the later stages of winter where it's just like, get warm already! Except right now it's like, get cold already! :D

    Same here, summer was amazing. Except this is my second year of college and the workload is tenfold what it was last year. Still better than that horribly awkward first couple of weeks of the freshman year, but still pretty rough. It's cool that you like it though.

    I hate the end of the warm, warm weather... long sunny days... the beach... the pool... wearing nothing but a bathing suit all day... playing and having fun... traveling and Pearl Jam shows...

    And so far September has SUCKED.

    I love the end of summer...the smell in the air, the beautiful sunsets, thinking back over the awesome time you had. And I love fall.
    September always has the best fashion magazines too. :p And all the new makeup collections are always fun. ;)

    Yeah, AP Bio and English were cake. AP Bio especially. Literally passed the course in one week.

    By the way, September rocks. Football's starting, baseball's hitting the home stretch and the best part of the season, hockey and basketball are getting ready, going down the shore when no one there is awesome, there's Irish Weekend down the shore, and of course the greatest day in the World - my birthday.

    very sad the summer is over....3 PJ shows, 2 eddie, what can be better than that...well maybe 4 pj and 3 ed, but who is counting...

    What a great summer! Wish there were some nicer days on the east coast, but what are you gonna do?
