This Sunday, my daughter will be appearing as a cheerleader "made" into an ice hockey player. I was wondering if anybody else has gone through this experience with their family?

    more along the lines of someone being on the show, or a family member being on the show. I'm wondering what your thoughts where about it.

    yeah, it's a formula they follow, and it takes loads of time, for instance the beach scene took hours, some scenes will only be on the .com part of it. But overall a very positive experience for her.

    She is from Richboro PA.. I am from Newtown PA. We both went to Council Rock High School in Bucks County.

    My brother's friend lives next door to her family.

    I am very familiar with CB West.. Funny..

    MTV Made did a show a long time ago and the kid was from one of the CB schools..

    They have a branch that does a lot of Jersey/Eastern PA based shows. Last weekend they had the True Life, I'm in a summer romance, and the one couple worked at the bucks county rafting place.. and the girl stayed home to go to Bucks Community College.

    I drove around the area once. Nice place. Funny though, my wife went to show me her home that she grew up in and we could not find her street b/c it has been built up so much since she has moved.

    Not really, there is only one Made and they've gone as far U.K. and Hawaii to find kids. the U.K. kid didn't work out for them.

    Not just made.. they do a lot of those specials out in that area.. true life, made, a lot of the jackass/bam crap..

    Bam is a whole different story though.. I guess thats my other connection to MTV.. I can't tell you how many times I ran into him at the bars, or a store or a gas station.

    My Favorite Made was the BMX girl, I think it was the first season. The Gay soccer player was funny too :)
