Why do kids kill?

I've been reading that news about the 15 yr old in Baltimore who killed his parents and 2 siblings, and then went out with friends Friday night and Saturday. You know usually in situations like this I feel sorry for the accused kid and the victims. But I saw this kids picture and I'm thinkin' you stupid fuck, why the hell did you do that? I mean I remember how confused and different I was from 15 to now (almost 25) and hell I'm always thinking I'd love to kill my mom or dad.....not really....but you know the whole parents are driving me insane bit. But its like you've totally fucked up your life. And despite whatever kind of home life this kid had behind the walls. He had it pretty damn good.

Parents were together, nice house, two brothers, went to a good high school, parents had money, he had good grades, coulda went to an Ivy League school for college. Now his whle life is gonna be bein' someone's bitch behind bars.

I'm almost afraid to have kids someday.....whats the matter with kids???

I think a mix of both, some kids are that ignorant, others are more educated, that is why you often find kids killing themselves after committing a crime.

I agree I don't condone that behavior, but its like if your gonna do it, do it and take yrself out too, cause your not gonna get away w/ the shit.

The only way this kid will get away with this is if he manages to pull some kind of Edward Norton Primal Fear Aarron/Roy trick out of his ass. And you pretty much need the acting skills of Marlon Brando to get away with that. I doubt this kid even knows who he is.

Some kids have a hard life but they never resort to violence or killing someone. They should be shipped off to the army, not jail if you ask me. :mad: Do something useful with their lives instead of feeling sorry for themselves.

ok, so you say he had good grades and parents had money, i think it could be the case of pressure.he was pressured to stay perfect for his parents they might have controlled him too much, and one day he just snapped. people can snap you know, they will take a lot of shit during their lives and keep it within them and then one day they realise they can't take it anymore. it's like a snowball it gets bigger and bigger and then it hits them on the head.

you shouldn't be scared of having kids, ( unless you're giving birth to them which i'm terrified off ) just make sure they're happy, and not keeping something from you. it's hard to be a parent, because kids should be allowed to be free but also kept under control, it's got to be balanced out right.

i thought about this question too, and of course they know they're going to jail. it's just they don't think about it at that particular time, once they snap they're not the same person anymore so to speak, they start concentrating on the deed and not the consequences.

KIDS don't kill... SOME kids do.

I think there's a reason you're not allowed vote, drink, smoke, have sex until you reach a certain age... cos you don't necessarily understand that your actions can have life changing consequences.

I'm sure at that age, a kid knows that killing is wrong... but might just see it as a way to get certain people out of their lives... and see it as the ONLY way... cos at that age you haven't experienced the freedom of living on your own and you may find it hard to believe that things actually change... and things get better.

I don't really know what I'm trying to say... I mean obviously most normal people of any age know that killing is wrong... so I guess those who kill and premeditate it simply aren't normal. There's something wrong.
