Final year for The Stadium. I plan on getting my kids down there at least once, and maybe a trip with my father. Anyone else making a point of going this year?
I love to turn you on

i hope to not only go to a few games to say goodbye to the old shrine,
and possibly the All Star Game,...
but i am hoping and praying the rumours come to fruition that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band say goodbye with a couple of sold out shows once all the ballgames are over and done with .

  • I went last year for the first time and was pretty disappointed. Other than the white fence at the top of the stadium, it was pretty generic. Everything looked pretty dated too. The paint and most of the signs had a dull look to them, as if they hadn't been redone in a few years. The Yanks were losing and by the 7th inning the place was 1/2 empty.

Compared to other parks it wasn't that bad and from a historical point of view, it was neat to see it but I felt like it gets a lot of undeserved praise.

It really does look like a toilet too.

    you are not wrong
the place is a dump, the food sucks and the fans can be annoying

but its the history of the park that makes it what it is
