the guy is 100% old school but understands the game needs some flamboyance. man look at those get-ups! and at least he has an opinion and is not afraid to share it - no matter who gets offended!!! he would do very well in A Moving Train!!!
I love the guy. And i don't really see what's so old-school about him. He just likes hard-nosed hockey...if that's old school, then there are def too many damn swedes in the league Hard nosed hockey is still what wins games, 9 times out of 10....he tells it like it is.
And I think he's right about fighting vs stick swinging, hot dogging, diving, whining, dumping the puck in, etc etc...I think he's great.
oh man, hes a funny guy but he hates the penguins so i dont like him. lol he hated lemieux cause he wasnt drafted by a canadian team and the same thing now with sid and AO
but i do love seeing him on ESPN cause the NHL needs more recognition
there'll be time for laughin'
there's no time to cry
soon i will be leavin'
look me in the eye
no matter what's in front of me
it's your face that i'll see
Hate him. He's old, stupid, and ignorant as a person. It just so happens that he knows a decent amount about hockey and they let him talk on television. Also, he wears hideous suits.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
