Can anyone tell me some good things to do on facebook?

Ive just recently joined the facebook revolution and apart from looking at photos on "friends" accounts (of which i have four :o) what else is there to do on here? Im just trying to understand why its SO popular that's all! :)

    There's a ton of annoying applications to play with on Facebook. Which is why I only check my Facebook profile once or twice a month.

    I also find Facebook to be bland. With MySpace you can be more creative. But Facebook is easier to use which I guess is why it's more popular now.

    They used to have Scrabulous, which was the best game ever. Now there's some lame regular Scrabble (TM) version.
    There are a million apps, most stupid. I use to keep track of/communicate with friends. Don't worry about only having four. You'll be amazed who crawls out of the woodwork, some cool, some who were never your friends to begin with.

    i dont use any of the applications... i use it just for keeping in touch with people!

    If you're an Arrested Development fan Facebook has a cool application with quizzes and stuff. I've been a degenerate for the last two days and have answered more than 200 questions. Yeah, that's right: I'm fucking awesome!
