I think im getting the first stages of it from listening to my ipod too much/loud for a long time, my god i hope there is something that can be done to stop this noise when i go to the doctors! The only good thing i suppose is at the minute it comes and goes rather than being constant.

So has anybody else had/have it?

I don't think I have that but I notice my hearing isn't what it used to be. Im having more problems hearing people. I try to keep the volume at a decent level on my discman (yeah I said discman:p) I do get ringing occasionally though
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I've had it constantly for nearly ten years. The first few months are the worse but you do get used to it. The only time it bothers me/ I notice it is when I'm going to sleep so I listen to music or have the TV on when I go to sleep. I also started wearing ear plugs at gigs (horse already bolted  )

Know when I went to the doctors I was referred to a hearing test and then told there is nothing they can do for it :o
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Yeah ive just been readin up about it on t'internet and it seems ya just have to live with it and try and think positively when it effects you rather than focussing negatively on the problem! Apparently there are medicines ya can try but they are hit and miss

In this day and age you would think they could do a bit of magic to cure it wouldnt ya?

Will say that at first you focus on it and are listening for it. This will go away and honestly I hardly ever notice it.

Yeah i think i may have had it for a while now but the last few days ive noticed it more as someone in work was talking about it and now im constantly thinking about it!!! Im sure (or hope at least) that it just goes back to what it was like a week or so ago when im not thinking about it all the time.

I wised up about my hearing when I turned 25. So many concerts, and lawnmowers.....Now I'm an ear plug junkie.

    jackass.

First off, learn to spell it "Tinnitus"
My Tinnitus has gotten better since using ear plugs for the past 3+ years. But fuck you, I hope you go completely deaf.
