I was thinking of going to the two florida shows just cos that is a more obvious/popular choice to travel to from UK as i can go disney or what have ya when i am there :)

    Go to the Chicago show!!!

Oh wait.. there isn't one! ;);)

Hahaha.. Yeah not a ton to do in South Carolina, or Hartford.. But maybe you'd have fun in New York City? Camden is a fun show always, its right across the river from Philadelphia. Philly isn't the most amazing city ever, but you would surely enjoy your time. I lived there for 15 years. Boston is a great place to visit too!!

But if you want to do Disney then FL where its at. (Literally!)

I say NYC thought.. just my thoughts

neither West Palm Beach nor Tampa are near Disneyworld. Disneyworld is in Orlando, FL.

West Palm Beach is approx. 1hr or so north of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Tampa is in ?Central Fla? (I believe it is south?west of Orlando). It's closer to Disney World than West Palm Beach. It's a nice area from what I understand, it's on the Gulf coast of Fla.

I can't fairly speak about Columbia SC
I don't think it is a large city but I'm not really sure?

VA Beach is really nice, I've been there, it is a small touristy town near, well, the beach, and it's not expensive to stay there. It's not a large city though

DC is self explanatory, it's the nation's capital
    NYC, well, duh. :)

Camden is in south New Jersey, across the river from Philadelphia

    CT is north of NYC

and the MA date is near Boston, MA.

    hope that is helpful

orlando international airport (mco is the airport code)...both florida shows are totally do-able. west palm is about a 2 hour drive south of orlando...tampa is about an hour and a half from orlando. depending on how fast you drive :) either one is not that bad.

and for both shows, there are hotels right next to the venues. especially the tampa show...i'm counting 4 that i can see from my apartment window right now. i'm gonna LOVE being able to just walk across the little bridge for the tampa show...i'm so excited!!!

if you need any other help w/ orlando or tampa, let me know.

in all honesty, your BESt bet is the south. it will be cheaper in ALL ways...hotels, restaurants, etc....and there will be less 10c members so better seats. so then florida, south carolina, virginia all excellent bets. personally, i think the best 10c tix to be had will be in south carolina and virginia...just my personal guess.

me, i can't manage any of those dates....but if i could i would. i have to try and duke it out with my fellow NY area fans and the multitudes who will descend. gonna try for DC too just b/c it fits our schedule so well. went to hartford last tour, so want to travel elsewhere. the northeast shows tend to be the fullest with 10clubbers, and obviously also WAY more expensive to stay up here.

    hope it helps. :)

    true,
    but,
wouldn't you agree nothing beats a show in NYC? Especially MSG!!! There's no place like it!

depends what you want. seriously. msg is amazing, but i've seen pj in 5 countries now, and in europe especially....pretty damn amazing times! i think it all depends on the crowd.

beyond that, seems the OP is looking to get the most bang for his buck, and the 'msg vibe' alone might not be enough of a lure. besides, seriously, your 10c # is so-so like mine...goes a LOT further elsewhere. as i said, if i could, i would SO be all over the SC show.

It aint like they are NEVER gonna do europe again IS IT?????????

it REALLY is quite a decision! the last two euro tours i faced the same...but i went with my gut, dates that worked best, places that i had friends ;)...how much i could afford, wetc. you narrow it down and take it from there. if ya make it to NYC hope we get to meet ya, if not...maybe DC...or just enjoy your travel and shows wherever pj takes you! :D

oh god it gets even worse planning it now i can see just how far away from one another all these places are in miles!!!!!!!

florida it is i reckon, otherwise its gonna be seriously big money to hang around a few days then travel somewhere else. bu then, even after i say that to myself i think its not worth going all the way over ther "just" to watch two shows and go on a rollercoaster :D

choices choices hey, woe is me indeed.........

can't decide...they were ALL so special in some way. milan is VERY special to me, but mostly b/c pj/ed honored my request to play MoTH for my dad. :) EVERY show in italy was amazing....dusseldorf was probably my fave in 2007. mere at home? maybe irving plaza? holmdel 2003 was beautiful...but so were both msgs. the gorge in 2005 was spectacular, yea...i could never chooce just one. :p

btw - DO remember, the british pound sterling is worth TWICE as much as the US dollar, so lucky you! do you plan to rent a car? b/c that could make a BIG difference. i honestly don't know how far Sc is from VA, but it's not THAT far. i live just outside NYC, and can drive to DC in about 4 hours, if going fast and decent traffic. ;) if not getting a car, bit more tricky, would have to rely on buses and/or trains. outside of NY, i have NO clue to that. but you can easily look into it. check out greyhound.com and amtrak.com to start. it IS doable, no matter what you want. also, pj fans are the BESt for helping each other on the tour road. i've done a LOT of travel for show, all over...with loads of different people, etc...always an adventure and always a fantastic time - amazing memories!
