    It's funny because that's all Sweet Lou has done in the past decade - had great seasons with excellent records only to choke in the playoffs. I.E. Seattle in '00 & '01 I believe and last year and this year with the Cubs.

    If Harden is pitching the next game I like the Cubs chances of at least taking one! ....otherwise as always in Cubville there is next year!

    Exactly. Maybe they should do the opposite and do what we in Philly did - make a deal with the devil. I spoke it over with Satan and Jesus and said, "Look guys. Let's just get along for the next year and have our city's teams go 4-for-4. Satan, you can keep on killing people in the ghettos of Philly all you want too if that makes you feel better. Okay?     Tonight will be the last Cubs game we will see until April. I love the Cubs but there is no way that they are going to come back and win three. I hope they do but I've been a fan long enough. I know how this movie ends.

    Agreed. I wish I could feel excited for the game tonight, but it's hard when this team has pretty muched sucked every ounce of life out of me.
