    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    xbox live is great value if you play certain games ...

    you can play with friends and complete missions without anyone having to come over ... i can play GRAW with my buddy in Calgary and chit chat with him all nite ...

    but games like halo 3 is where its at ... you play with people all over the world changing the game experience every time ... so, you're $60 game gets waay more play when you play live ... you could have finished the campaign on halo 3 in like 2 days ... then what? ... with live - you keep playing and it's still fun ...

    fuck that i beat halo 3 in 5 sittings and my other buddy beat in 2 half hour sittings. There are much better games out there for 360.

    To the OP i would say YES considering its only 199 now or whatever, fable 2 is coming out in 2 weeks which is worth buying it alone.

    I think he meant online is free with PS3.

    i have been watching videos of this at ign.com. never played the first one but this looks awesome i don't even care much for RPGs

    First one was ok (opinion), I'll probably wait until it's $20-$30 for this one, if at all.
    Fallout is out in a month, now that will be a better RPG ;)
    Gears 2 shortly after.

    is Fallout a straight up RPG? i know nothing about it. i would imagine there are elements of action just like all newer games.

    It's a RPG shooter. Ever play any of the elder scrolls games?
    Picture Oblivion with guns :p
    I guess there'll be area damage, and obviously the RPG elements will be different as it's a futuristic shooter RPG instead of a mythical sword and magic RPG, there's 5 big gameplay vids on Live, HIGHLY worth the download.
