Anything positive you want to send my way...

My wife and I go to the hospital tomorrow night at nine. They are going to induce labor. I am a nervous wreck.

    good luck pops!!! you'll get a rush you've never felt. it's a rollercoaster. stay cool and you'll do fine...just remember - the docs and nurses know what they're doing and if you have faith in that, you'll be fine. just grab a leg and cheerlead through it. been there x3. good luck!

    Welcome to the wonderful world of the FUCKING CAR SEAT!!!!
    Its the devil. I hope you have the kind of car that you can use the clips instead of the belt b/c if not you are in for a horrible horrible time.
    I need to move my daughters seat up a notch but i have been putting it off.
    Great, now i am gonna have nightmares.

    We have the kind where you secure the base in the car, and never worry about it again. The car seat pops in and out.

    Good luck!!! i have 4 year old daughter and a 1 year old daughter.Its tuff and first but it will come to you

    Congrats! Its amazing. You just don't realize how really cool it is until you are there and its happening. It really isn't too scary. Just remember, she loves you no matter how crabby she might get. :)

    Thank everyone for all the prayers and thoughts. Natalee Graceland was born at 8:48AM on February 7th. She weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19 and ¾ inches. Mom and daughter are doing great. I’ll post some pictures later, for now you can copy this web address into your browser and see her picture.

    Congrats to you and your wife. Glad all is well and I hope you guys are getting some sleep.


    Funny thing as a new parent. I remember just laying there, exhausted.....but not being able to sleep because I couldn't hear my newborn. I used to beg and pray just for him to make a sound so I knew he was ok..........I would eventually get up and make sure he was breathing. aaahhhhhh...........he's 12 years old now and I can't get him to hush up!

    same - 13 and 11 - i look at them (up at one) and think how did they grow up sooooooo quick

    in those difficult moments, try to stay calm...support each other and have a sense of humor :)
    (that advice is from my husband and me... parents of two sons, 16 and 18!)
