    I'm calling bullshit....I have never heard of a "Canadian brown finch." I just checked in the Sibley Field Guides....no such bird by that name. Did a Google and most of the hits were on this same youtube vid. :rolleyes:

    They probably have no idea which type of finch it is and just generalized it. I did a quick search and found there are many finches with many names that migrate into the US for the winter.

    North America's winter finches include pine grosbeaks, purple finches, red crossbills, white-winged crossbills, common redpolls, hoary redpolls, pine siskins and evening grosbeaks.

    I believe my personal fav has to be the HOARY REDPOLLS. It probably shacks up with all the finches! :D

    If you Google "canadian brown finch", you get some blogs who also call bullshit. I still don't believe that it is authentic video
