I was 15 when the song first came out, not only did I think the middle Hanson brother was a girl, I though he was a hot girl. I wasn’t the only one either, several other guys I knew thought the same thing until we found out different a few days later.

i never heard the next pearl jam thing, but they are still out there. they're on an indie label now and just released an album this past summer called 'the walk.' it is excellent. they're a great band. it's a shame this throwaway bubble gum pop song they wrote when they were kids killed any chance they might have at a real career, because they are great songwriters, singers, and musicians. i saw them live not long ago and i haven't seen a band jam like that since the black crowes. they even did a killer 10 minute version of 'let love rule' (and i hate lenny kravitz) with everbody trading off solos and whatnot.
