I know this is a long shot, but my buddy backed out on going to the MSG shows, now I have an extra plane ticket that I am not able to get refunded.
It departs on June 26th in the afternoon, and costs $120, which isn't bad at all. If there's anyone from Toronto without a return ticket, this is a pretty good opportunity.

Don't you have to have the ID of the person's name on the ticket to get on the plane?

unless it is a voucher - are you sure you can sell or transfer a plane ticket - otherwise it seems like a great deal. I wish I could join you, but my stupid sister is getting married that week which totally screwed up the entire leg for me

Airlines are strict about this kind of stuff and it seems to have gotten worse since 9/11. Tickets are typically non-transferable and non-refundable. That said, certain carriers, Westjet, Air Canada, etc. will now let you change a flight, etc. (for a fee of course) and buy prepackaged vouchers which can be put into any name. That said, I think you better check with the airline or travel agent to avoid any nasty surprises.

I'm sorry to be the carrier of bad news but I worked for Northwest and American Airlines for a long time even after 9/11 and the non-transferable rule is not an airline policy it's an FAA regulation, unless you are selling a voucher airline tkts are non-transferable.
