I hear ya. I bought an EV T shirt today just cause I really wanted one, and couldn't go to a show. My total was like $37.50. So I guess I broke my "won't buy concert tees in the 40 dollar ragnge anymore rule". I usually can't justify 40 bucks on a T shirt I'd rather have a bootleg/ dvd combo like the who did on their last tour.

Looks like pj has joined the 30- 40 dollar concert tee group. There are still bands that stay in the 20-25 dollar range.
I know it was my choice to buy it (before I get bitched at) but I do understand the complaint. I thought pj was a lower price t shirt band. I bought the orange ape/ man shirt for 25 back in 2000. Didn't buy a shirt in 2003, got the boot instead. :D
    PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14
    EV Solo: 7/11/11 11/12/12 11/13/12

At first I thought you meant gas.

Hmm, bought more than one of these shirts in LA. Bought another today. I should really read what everyone says on here before I make up my mind. No. Aint gonna do that. If I did that I would have to believe that Dirty Frank was actually a good song. I'll make up my own mind and regret it later. And all I have to do to feel guilty or stupid is pop on here for a few minutes.

So you bought several of the same shirt at the show and then another one today? Why?
  • there ARE MANY tee shirts in the goods section for $16.
    there's even a long sleeve for $22 .

I hope that the t-shirt is good quality for that price.
Why is all april fools stuff more expnsive than other PJ stuff ? ($40 for a poster Vs usual $25, $30 t-shirt, $40 zippo...)
    That's crazy.
If the t-shirt is good quality (like the brown polo of last year) then ok. Otherwise, not for me.

No offense, but I'm college educated, and I certainly wouldn't pay that for a shirt. I don't care if it was hand-crafted by God Himself. A college education should teach you there are better things to drop 40 bills on. I stopped buying concert tees in 2003 on the VFC tour. They were great looking, and about $25. Now I'd rather spend that money on the poster or just save it. I suppose if I didn't have a mortgage, family to feed, etc. it would not be a big deal. $40 isn't a lot, but for a T, it sure is.
