Finally, after all these years.

Everyone has some kind of list for things to do before they die.
For me, the item on the top of the list is : "Pearl Jam concert"
Maybe it's not as fancy as driving a sports car surrounded by beautiful women or meeting the president. But hell, all the presidents in the world aren't worth missing a Pearl jam concert. (Not really sure about the sports car and the women, to be honest)
I've been a fan for the past ten years, right after listening to "TEN".
Since then, I've been a lonely promoter for PJ in Seoul. Korea where hardly anyone knows who PJ is and how awesome Eddie's voice is. It was incredible to meet people who knew them and more so to talk about their music.
Man, I love them.
I couldn't make it to their last tour, and I always regretted it.
This time, I earned the cash, I've blanked my list of schedule, and I'm looking for the tickets. Just the thought of being there brings a rush of excitement to my veins.
I know I'll be surrounded by friends, since we all party to the same music
I know we'll be toasting for the same songs when Eddie begins to sing
I know we'll be having the time of our lives since, even after all these years, PJ kicks ass.
I'll see everyone there. Look for the person with the National flag of South Korea with him. That's for the respect all my friends here would be sending with me to the States.
Cheers.

Enjoy yourself! It's life changing. You will never, never forget it. Snap a few pics, maybe get a little mini recorder to record some audio and rock the fuck out.

It's kind of like Korea, except instead of Koreans, it's full of old people.
for the least they could possibly do
If i were going to suggest a show, I would probably be Sc. Nnot a huge venue, only two levels and they still have tickets available. Right now, The third level tickets still available for Tampa are really, really high. Ant view. But if that's all you can get, hey man, youre there.
I swear to whatever "particular god you worship" - so as NOT to offend anyone else on this "board." (other than YOU!) with that said - WTF???? - telling someone to come to Florida where all the old people live. Are you literally trying to piss me the fuck off? If being 44 years old actually qualifies me as being old - then by all means - please keep your young frikon ass out of Florida! We don't NEED your kind here - and we don' WANT your sterotyping-ass here anyway! It's people like you that piss ME the "FUCK Off!"! And don't even start "spreading the love now." One cannot "Un-ring" a bell - now can they?
"Empty pockets will Allow a greater Sense of wealth...." EV/ITW
nope, not actually searching for a particular venue...
if PJ is there, it's fine by me
but like everyone says, I think all the good tickets are sold out. whewww..
Might I ask if there are still ways to get some good seats which other people sell on-line or trade?
Thank you very much. posted threads on the pages you recommended
I am only responding to this because I feel bad for the op. This person has listed one of the things to do before he/she dies is to see a pearl jam show and this is the bullshit that they have to read?? Give me a break.
To the op, I hope you make a show, somehow someway! All I can say is that the feeling that I get when I am finally in the arena after waiting months for a show date to roll around, and the band walks out, Ed liesurely sets his wine and notebook down, waves to a few people and then leans to the mic and gives us that deep baritone just smoked a half pack of Spirits "good evening" is like nothing else I have experienced! Once I hear that I know that the shit is ON, and it is gonna be a great night!
Good luck!
Rose....just take a deep breath. It'll be alright. Everyone knows Florida is great, slightofjeff was just kidding.
What's it like to be old?
Lots of urinating.
Do they really smell like moth balls?
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
That's awesome. You must be real fun at parties.
for the least they could possibly do
GODDAMMITT!!!! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SAY THAT? ARE YOU JUST TRYING TO PISS ME OFF?!? I URINATE ALL THE TIME ... DOES THAT MAKE ME OLD?
FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING FUCK, FOR CALLING ME A URINATING OLD MAN. NEXT, YOU'LL PROBABLY SAY I CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A JOKE AND SOMETHING SERIOUS! AND THAT WILL REALLY MAKE ME ANGRY!!!! ARRRGH!!!! LOUD NOISES!!!!!
for the least they could possibly do
wow...I guess I'm the only one who thought SlightofJeff was joking when he said that about FL!?!?!
geesh--relax dude! maybe you didn't notice, but there are a LOT of old people in FL. It's a standard joke...chill.
BTW--to the original poster--You will be the first person I look for if I hear of any extras!
Whatever you are, be a good one --Lincoln
Hooooooooo-ly, Rose, relax, Drew was right, deep breaths!
I don't know. Flexibility is the 1st thing to go.
Drew, I think we should become door to door blender salesmen in FLA! We would make a killing! Just think of all that pureed food.
You can try to create a new thread that specifically highlights your cause and which show you would prefer and just keep hoping for the best.
Or, if you're like me, and don't like waiting you can hit up the usuals. You can snag some tickets from a less popular show or hit up ebay. Although there are a lot of really high ticket prices, every once in a while you'll find some tickets for a decent price. You're also going to look at the less popular shows for the best prices.
What the hell crawled up your ass? Geeze!
and another thing, the natives are really sensitive!

Oh..I like it. We'd be RICH.
I take this very seriously and am offended. I demand an apology and for you to be fired immediately. Again..I find this offensive. I'm offended.
Good luck on finding tickets, im sure someone has extras. If you narrowed down what shows you might be wanting to attend ( i know it doesnt matter but it makes it easier when trying to find single tickets if you know where you are headed)
Again good luck, hope to see your flag at one of the shows!!
