Toliet seat up or down?

I dont care if a guy leaves the seat up but for some women they freak out!!

If I am strickly in a bachelor pad I will put the seat back up for him...

If I'm at a bachelorette's house I leave it down....

but what do you do when your not exactly sure?

    i don't really understand why women complain. we have to touch the toilet seat as well, to lift it up.

    i understand if the man is unhygenic and doesnt aim accurately haha, but whatever. in my student house we have one toilet specifically for the 3 guys in the house, so we can leave the toilet seat up!

    I just leave it down all the time even in my own apartment. I mean come on, are we all too lazy to go and pick it up if we'll be standing and then put it back down?

    And if any of my buddies come in and pee on the seat and leave it I take them back in there and rub their face in it and tell them what a bad human they are. They tend to learn better that way. :p

    I put it down with the lid, but only because I have cats that might drown in there if I left it up.

    I knew there was a reason I like you!

    I leave the seat and lid down. I mean it has a lid for a reason. Just looks untidy imo. I don't leave all the drawers and cabinets in my house open, so why would I leave the toilet open? And I don't want my cats drinking or swimming in that water! :eek: ewwwwww

    I ALWAYS leave the seat down, even the lid. It must be some retracted fear of something falling in the toilet which it has in the past.

    I grew up in a house will mostly women- so the seat was always down. At first, my husband did not put the seat down. One late night, I get up to use the loo, and fall into the hole. Not good when your half asleep. After this episode, the seat is down after he uses it.

    Don't even get me started on the germs that fly out of the toilet when you flush. ALWAYS CLOSE THE LID BEFORE YOU FLUSH! This has been a public service announcement :)

    i go whether its up or down. men can go up or down, so it should be the womens job to leave it up when theyre done, not the mens job to leave it down. and if you get so pissed off about sitting down with no seat, tilt your head down and fucking look at it before you sit.

    besides, when its down, its not too hard to aim to not get all over the seat anyway...
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

    but what about the lid??? Why is there a lid if it isn't meant to be closed? I think men and women should both CLOSE THE LID. I'm serious about the flushing thing. ewwwww you probably have fecal matter all over yourself :eek: ;)

    If there are girls in the house, I do my best to leave it up...when Im done but irregardless, if I leave it down, I always wipe off the seat no matter whether or not if I sprinkled when I tinkled....there is always unseen spray back anyway.
