I posted earlier in another thread that Boom reminds me of Chief from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest because he never talks.

Yep, Hawaii 2006. :) He is a man of few words. ;)

So since my opinion of Boom differs from yours I can no longer attend shows? Thanks but I think I'll keep going. It's going to a busy touring year for me next year and I'd hate to miss it.

I find it disappointing that he hasn't really been declared an official member of the band. I mean I just can't imagine a modern PJ disc without his organ work on it. But he's not listed in the band menu on the site and never appears in promotional photos. I really think it's a shame because I think he's earned his wings in spades.

yup, that is pretty much it.

    sucks to be you.

just for your sake alone, i hope they make him an official member...and i bet it's gonna happen sooner, than you think/hope :)

    Really?
I could do without Boom. Sure he´s a nice enough guy but musically PJ would be better off without organ imo.

Exactly. I've heard from people who have met him on tour that he's a great person. But he adds nothing to the music. I mean do we realy need organ in deep?

Met Boom before the Mansfield, MA show on 6/28/08. He is very cool. I would have liked to have spent more time with him but the show was getting under way. Spent about 15 minutes with him. His family from Hawaii was visiting. Nice folks.

I like what he adds to the sound of the band. IMHO

The reason he never speaks is just like how you never get to see Wilson's face in Home Improvement. It keeps some mystique to him and you are always on the edge of your seat that his face might pop up over the fence too far during one episode.

guess this proves he's just not necessary!
