Im a long time poster on here so I like to think, and I respect ALL of your opinions that are on this board. But I have a problem with the USPS. Am I the only one in America that has had a piece of merchandise mishandled , crushed, non delivered by the USPS? I buy some pretty valueable things online ( hmmm, posters, hmmm) and I have had a few items mishandled. Anyone else have this problem? ......Please Discuss!!!

    That's how it was at UPS when I worked there yrs ago.

    Saw some major smashed packages come down the belt.

    Honestly, I've had more shit damaged by UPS then USPS

    the thing about that place is they want to put safety first...

    being safe gets in the way of productivity so corners are cut, things are overlooked, packages are smashed.

    The thing for me is :

    1. It seems like the really important stuff they dont deliver quickly

    2. Every time I check the mail, I see a " Have you seen me now " card , but they cant make sure an official document gets to my door.

    Regarding the PO, I like when Jerry did Newman's route and he didn't get the transfer to Hawaii. Newman says, "They knew it wasn't me delivering it. Too many people got their mail. No one has ever cracked the 50% mark!"

    FedEx is the only one I really trust to deliver items in perfect condition.

    I actually have no gripes. But, we live in a smaller town and have had the same person for years. I've only had one thing damaged and luckily it wasn't a poster. :)

    never had a problem with the usps...it's the damn fedex that screws me.

    especially the new york distribution center. it's a freakin' black hole for packages.

    All major couriers use the same system. They all pay their emloyees the same crappy wages for the same back breaking labor. I would have to say that your experiences with USPS are the luck of the draw.

    My letter carrier is a piece of shit and a disgrace to the USPS. I've filed numerous complaints, and yet she still can't figure out who's mail goes to what ho8use on my street. I really got to know some of my neighbors all the times that we've met to swap mail.

    I subscribed to Rolling Stone for a while. I was on average, receiving 1 out of 3 copies. I suspect my letter carrier.
