    While in Vegas over the summer i saw the Pacquiao--Diaz fight and what a fight. The whole atmosphere was electrifying and what a following the Pacman has.

    Awesome hand speed and a deadly lefthook. I can't stand Dela Hoya so it's the Pacman ALL the way KO in 7.

    Yes you should be proud they packed the Mandalay Bay Hotel Resort and we had the best time yacking about the fight game. Prior to this fight i dont think I had ever heard of the Pacman but he's the real deal.

    A quick look at that fight...Pacquiao/Diaz I might order this fight with dela Hoeya.

    anybody watch the special on hbo on the training/lead-up to this fight? i love seeing their workouts and how they keep themselves focused and everything. Based on their training, it seems like Pacman is Rocky and De La Hoya is Ivan Draggo from Rocky. Let's go Manny

    it would be a bigger deal if boxing was a well organized sport like it used to be.

    WTF happened to this great sport? There's a dozen freckin' leagues and organizations now. No true world champion at all.

    OSCAR De La Hoya is one of the best boxers to ever enter a ring.

    someone compared him to Draco from Rocky III ???

    what the hell is all of this bs?? Manny Pacquiao is being trained in LA with Freddy Roach, the man that made some of the worst corner decisions for Oscar ever. Oscar trains in the mountains because the air, and because of the seclusion. Why is that seen as a bad thing?

    The fact that both boxers adjusted their weight classifications to have this match up shouldnt be seen as "for the money" with De La Hoya - do you have any idea how much money he already has? he is a promoter, and no longer needs to fight.

    how can you be naysaying the golden boy?

    He is the pride of Los Angeles...I am so excited about this matchup...

    dela hoya has only fought 3 times in 3 yrs, that's once every year & he went down on weight for this fight. does he have power to KO or even survive the speed & power of pacman? he's already 35 & that's old for boxing. pacman is still in his prime at 29 & has 7 fights in 3 years (compared to only 3 for oscar).

    I lucked up and I've seen the PACMAN fight in person and he's a true warrior and if I was in Vegas again I'd there for this fight.

    I know and understand the feeling of standing behind one's fellow countryman. I did so for Usain *Lightening* Bolt in the Olympics you can't beat that feeling.

    I saw that feeling of being proud of your countryman on the faces of the Filipino people after that fight back in June. Made me wonder who is this Pacquiao guy he has a hell of a following.

    they just did a promo on upcoming fights, Hasim Rahman vs. Wladimir Klitschko on December 13 for the IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweigh title. Hopefully, Rahman brings the titles back to the US.

    they should just merge all organizations and just go with the original WBA organization.
