nah, usually 'Europe' is wiped out pretty early... cos they show images of the Eiffel tower and the colosseum being destroyed... and ya know Asia's gone cos they show some Asians in a market in funny hats dying a horrible death. NYC will always be the first American city to go though... Africa and Australia always seem pretty safe places to be when the shit's hitting the fan.

jeez helen how could you even tell if the colosseum was destroyed by aliens or whatever.

seems to me whenever there is an alien o r monster attack in the movies, the bad guys head for the US.(and secretly dont all we non americans love it? ) let's not forget the end of planet of the apes

hmm... did ya not see the whole world being destroyed during the film? Don't worry, it probably only lasted a couple of seconds anyway cos the rest of us aren't all that important

(for the record I'm not really sure about planet of the apes... but this is usually how it goes in other disaster films)

yep yep i saw the world desrtoyed, but that was not what i was talking about. my (facetious) question was specific to the colosseum. considering how fucked it looks now, i find to difficult to tell when it is destroyed.
