Best author of our generation. Of his books that I've read my favourites are:

1) Another Roadside Attraction
2) Jitterbug Perfume
3) Still Life with Woodpecker
4) Skinny Legs and All

Anyone else a fan?

I am BIG TIME! He is such a brilliant guy and talented writer. His concepts are amazing and I learn something from him every time I read one of his books. I think some of his later stuff is even more astounding than the earlier books. Fierce Invalids and Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas (which is frighteningly current) are two all-time favorites. My list would be:

    1) Fierce Invalids
    2) Jitterbug
    3) Skinny Legs and All
    4) Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas

Woodpecker is a sentimental favorite - because it's his first book (and the first book I read). I once went looking for him in LaConner WA when I was living in Seattle. I would love to meet him over coffee or a drink as I think he is one enlightened dude. Thanks for posting about him. People who haven't discovered him should give him a try.
