Ok people, I'd never even heard of this until last week, when the insanely talented Kaki King, while appearing on a TV show here in Australia, told a story about how people in the southern states find this dish a delicacy.
Own up, who's tasted this?

By the way, if you don't know, a turducken is a duck, stuffed into a chicken, and then stuffed into a turkey.

I've never tried this, being a veggie, but my family had this at Thanksgiving a couple years ago and really liked it!! They are crazy though :D

We tried it a few years ago, and it was ok. The majority just wanted plain old turkey though. It was a fun experiment though and not bad. :)

NFL television analyst John Madden has a turducken on Thanksgiving Day football broadcasts. He gives out drumsticks to players who have good games.

So, i saw this too, and must ask - do they actually push and force the other bird through the anus of the other?

The bird would have to have a pretty big shphincter wouldnt it??? Or would they cut it a bit?

    I'm intrigued.

Maybe at the next meet up we should make some??? :p

You just have to block the words out and concentrate on the tune. Very tricky sometimes though :D

Maybe EA Sports should package a turducken with Madden 2010? :D

I ran to the computer after Spicks and Specks was over, and only then did I figure out the episode was taped back in April so no shows :(

BTW, can't believe Myf doesn't know which album Whole Lotta Love is off. Just as well she recognised Betterman, otherwise, I'm going to have to hunt her down
