Crikey thats quite a question to answer at 4am in the morning.

Erm its an interesting one, e.g. where I am academically isn't the best as im not at the best uni but that doesn't mean im doing bad, im doing a degree i want to do still and im still doing okay. Even though this is 'wrong' im not too bothered.

But no i dont really wonder as i dont think ive done wrong in my life. Plus its also too early on to tell really !

I am just not where I want to be in life. After a year, I finally got a job in my field but I am making so little money that I can barely live and I do not really like the people I am working for all that much. My relationship with my girlfriend has not been great lately because she will have no future with me if I cant get out of the debt I am in. And most of all, I just seem to have one bad thing after another happen to me and I just wonder sometimes what I did to deserve it and if I will ever catch a break.

I'm still young, but... the things that I've done wrong are so far not nearly as big as the things I've done right.
drivingrl: "Will I ever get to meet Gwen Stefani?"
kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.

    Next!"
  • I've distanced myself from the people I should have trusted all along. I guess the good part is that I've now realized it and can try to fix the issue :)

  • No, I can trace everything back to the moments where I did the right thing or the wrong thing... It's never a mystery, lol. I take full responsibility for it all, and I don't dwell on the mistakes.

I have a much harder time looking forward, though. I don't know where I want to go in life, as far as a career is concerned. I feel like I need to get that figured out quickly, though, or I might be looking back someday and wondering what went wrong.

It's my favorite pastime. The only thing that can be done is to learn from it all.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I know what I've done wrong. Doesn't make me feel better though.

yeah. im pretty much in the same boat. i can go back now and tell you every little detail about the big, and even the small things that turned out to have a major impact on my life, and pave the road i'm on.

    kinda sucks at times.

not really. i would think it would be easier to go through life having the pain of being fucked over by a few, than going through life only knowing the love and trust of a few relationships.

I already know what I did wrong. All you can do is learn from your mistakes and try to move on. Focusing on the past only diminishes the present.

All the time. I wish I'd had advice when I was young but I was left to my own devices. As a result I try and encourage my kids to live life to the full and go out there and see what's available. Sadly I don't think this is the country to do it.

If I had not done so many things wrong with my life I would not be who I am today. So I am glad for everything that has happened to me. Good or bad.

When I am in the bad times (part of my life is going through that now) it is hard to see anything good but then somethings happen and you can look back with perspective.

I figure everyone feels like this at some point. If you believe in something higher than yourself, just console yourself that the world hasn't finished with you yet, maybe that break you're dying to catch is just around the corner. If you don't believe in something higher than yourself, believe in yourself and make the changes you need to be happy. Life can fucking suck sometimes, and there is nothing fair about. I doubt it's karma biting you in the ass because it happens to good people while assholes live like kings. Roll with it, otherwise you'll hit a wall one day that you won't be able to get round.

Here is a tip that helped make me a more optimistic person. Try hiking or walking. Sounds simple but it has done wonders for my outlook on life. It gives the mind time to ponder plus it is great exercise.

Just try walking about 5-6 miles a day (that really isn't much - get a pedometer). At least give it a try for a month. Plus, it will give you a chance to see the great state of Wisconsin.

    Good luck.

I'm fairly happy with my life. I only have one seriously bad regret that I really screwed the pooch with, but overall I'm satisfied.
