    yeah, that makes it rough.

football is already flukey enough with injuries and out of nowhere studs that emerge ... now toss in job speculation ... yikes.

it's funny ... I take football 1/2 as seriously as fantasy baseball ... yet ... talk 10x more smack during football ... it's just the nature of the beast.

by the way ... I kicked 15 people's asses in a pearl jam fantasy league last year (I was "Whipping" in one on the PJ leagues started on this board) ... 16 team leauge ... I got LT with pick #1 and Tom brady with pick #32 ... needless to say ... I dominated. Just want to tell you all .... you still suck. :D

I have two drafts on next Sunday. I wish they were later but that is how it worked out.

I have always takend two RB's in the first two rounds and i don't think i'm going to do that this year. I think i'll try to go RB then WR depending on who is availble. Then the third round i'll look at QB's if a dominate one is there or another RB.

We'll see how things work out.

RB's might not be the best choice this year. Too many combo backfields.

It depends what kind of league you are in IMO. If you are in a PPR you should look at WR in rd 2. Well, depending on what draft pick you have you could take Moss or TO late in rd 1 and grab a RB early in RD 2.

    I have drafts on the 25th, 28th, 2nd and 3rd.

I am such a loser. HA

I was torn a little, but I worry about Petersons health and falling back some in his second year vs knowing what I am going to get with LT. I just went with the safer choice. And I know that I will get screwed either way probably in the end.

I dunno...I dont think you'll get screwed...in a keeper league I might take Peterson due to his age and upside...I have to choose between TD machine (Moss) and a newcomer rookie who had a decent first year (Lynch) Im torn

I have a question about a trade for you guys, while we're talking about it.

Colston for McGahee, straight up. I have McGahee. I'm really slim at WR, have Plaxico, Brandon Marshall(who's suspended for atleast 2 games) and Javon Walker(big ?). But I have plenty of depth at RB, have Stephen Jackson, Maroney and Julius Jones. You only play 2 at each position each week. I'm really leaning towards this deal. I just don't want to have McGahee explode this season and then it would really piss me off cuz he was my 2nd round pick. What do you guys think?

Pull the trigger. You need Colston. I hate taking ravens players because the o is so weak. Boller is the qb so defenses will be stacking the line to stop mcgahee. Walker will be bad, One injury and your screwed at wr. Make the deal.

I would probably take Moss over Lynch. But only if I could get a good RB with my second pick.

Thats the problem...I'm afraid that wont happen since we draft an NFC and an AFC team...NFC I'm not freezing although I do have Larry Fitz

RB's might not be the best choice this year. Too many combo backfields.

that makes the top running backs even MORE valuable ... thus, the best ones shoot to the top of the draft board.

Yea, I took the deal. Was probably going to anyway, but you guys convinced me. This is for my #2 league anyway. My #1 is auction drafting this Sunday. I'm pumped. Thanks!

    Draft Secret for 2008-09:

RB Michael Bush, Raiders. Powerful & good speed....give him the ball, and he's going 4-7 yards each time, count it. He'll be the Marion Barber for the Raiders and will get lots of TD's.

He'll be the one punching it in, though.

Let me clarify - I'm not saying use a high pick on Michael Bush. But he's a great pick for a #3 RB late.
