Seems like a pretty standard question. If you are interested in educating people it shouldn't be too hard...
Or just say - I'm interested in this job because I think it would be fairly easy to shake down children for their lunch money.

you said should be taking in your first post. so then, it's what you think education/educators should do to affect these changes. obviously, i'd be a bit vague and broad. they don't want a dissertation, just overall thoughts. so ideas about encouraging individual thought and growth while still preparing students for the future and being well-rounded individuals, etc. educators love educator-speak, idealogies, methodologies, pedagogy, etc...ya see?
edited for pathetic typos....:o

Tell them we need to get kids to re-embrace their sense of community, family, and responsibility in this ever changing world. We need to focus on our impact on the environment and how we foster positive change to develop happy, healthy, individuals who are ready, and more importantly, excited to be productive members of our society and leaders of the future.
Or some other bullshit.

Wow, that is pretty deep. What makes this tough is that I really dont want to do this very badly........I just really need a higher paying/steady job right now and things are not looking that great in my fields.

actually, it's not very deep at all; more like vague and broad as i said it should be.
