I don't have any tips for you because I'm the worlds worst runner but I did want to say good luck and that I totally support people who do these types of things. I went to cheer on a friend this past summer at the Chicago marathon and I was just overwhelmed by the dedication the runners had. Best of my k to you :)

    dualathon?

I had to look that up, and I think you were shooting for duathlon. It's the run/bike/run race, right?

Good luck! You're a much badder ass than I'll ever be.

I'm so lazy and out of shape that even thinking about doing that makes me tired.

    Seriously though, good luck.

Check out some training plans on-line. There are a lot out there for free and they are really helpful. My husband and I have been doing triathlons for about 3 years now, but I am seriously thinking about switching to duathlons because I really suck at swimming. However, there aren't near as many duathlons as there are tri's.

What distance du are you duing.... I mean doing? (ha- get used to the tri/du puns).
