Rock Band for only $100 at Best Buy this week

I dont have much money with having to buy a car and finding a new apartment. I am trying to think of things I could sell just so I can buy it. Suggestions? A week of plasma will only get me 50......

    Maybe gather some stuff and have a yard sale or something like that.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    So I bought it for PS2 and the disc doesnt work..........I am just going to return it for the money because I know that if I get another copy, it wont work either. Guess I will just have to wait until the new guitar hero comes out.

    I already have Rock Band.....it ROCKS...the songs on it are much better then the songs on Guitar Hero 1 & 2!!

    So I go today to try and return it and they wont let me return it because it is opened. At that moment, I just wanted to punch the worker in the face and destroy the store. I swear things just seem to be goin down the shitter real fast for me and smaller things like this are just fuel on the fire.

    You didn't know that
    Open music, movies, video game discs can only be return as an exchanged for a new disc(s) of the title with a receipt.

    Yeah i did customer service before. I hated it and a lot of shit from the customers. Either follow the return policy or get cursed out by customers.

    I have not worked at a place that interacts with customers over a year now. :D

    I basically just wasted 100 dollars that I cant really afford to waste right now. They should have done a recall on this game rather than letting me go out and spend all that money on something that I cannot get a refund on and not get a working replacement for.

    They're suppose to replace it with a new one...as long as you have the receipt.
    That's against their policy to not replace it.

    That's against their policy to not replace it.

    What I am saying though is that a new game wont work either. From reading some forums and such online it sounds like for whatever reason, the game is only compatible with the newest PS2 model. I have a slimline one but it is still not the newest.

    You'll probably have to contact Rock Band's customer service toll number to see what they can do.
    If they keep getting complains then they will have to recall the product that's not compatible.

    I too have the slime version of the PS2...I haven't played it in awhile though.

    so far I have had EA replace every part of the rockband package at least once:
    If you put your credit card up for collateral, the process is quick and easy.

    Replaced (for free):

    3 drumsets
    1 mic
    1 guitar
    1 game disc
    2 footpedals
