Cruised on my honeymoon to Alaska on Norwegian cruiselines in August of 1999. Loved everything about it. We upgraded our room so we had a window, not just a creepy port hole. Used all of our cash for excursions and alcohol. Wouldn't change a thing. Lots of choppy sentences here. Sorry 'bout that. :D

Ive been to Jamaica, The Caymans, and Cozumel as well. I have heard Royal Caribbean is better so I would like to try one of those sometime. I went when I was in high school and went with the goal of hooking up with a girl on it, little did I know that it was mainly old people and business trips on it. Still had one of the best times of my life though. Ive been looking and there are some great deals so I think I would go on one again once I have the money.

My now husband and I took a Royal Caribbean cruise in May 2003. We were on the ship 'Adventure of the Seas'. We departed from San Juan, PR, and traveled to St. Thomas (where we got married on the beach), St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua, & St. Lucia. We had a balcony, which I highly recommend. We would consider taking another cruise in the future, but we really fell in love with St. Thomas, and we have chosen to vacation there twice since our cruise.

I've never been on a cruise however my first is coming up this summer to the Western Carribean. I think it's on Carnival Cruises.

  • RCCL Mariner of the Seas for my honeymoon. Western Caribbean. It was AWESOME! My 3rd cruise and I'd go again in a hearbeat!

We hit up Labadee, (Haiti), Cozumel, Grand Cayman, & Ochos Rios. Just awesome. Check out http://www.CruiseCritic.com it's soooo helpful for planning a cruise. Reviews, suggestions, ideas for excursions. I planned just about everything from that website.

Stay away from NCL. It's not as nice (IMO) as RCCL or Celebrity and Princess. Norwegian apparently is for the older folks. We ran into some other cruisers who were honeymoooning and they all complained about the ages on Norwegian.

It's such a good time. You get to see many places, do so many things and really - you'd think it would seem cramped but those mama's are so big it's just mind boggling. Never once were we pressed for space or had to look for a chair or anything. And, if you can, splurge for a balcony. It's well worth it! Nothing better than having a cocktail or coffee on your own private balcony over looking the water!

I've been on one Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos. I loved everything about it and plan to do another one sometime. I'd love to do the Alaska cruise.

My wife and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon just over a month ago. It was wonderful. We took the Princess line and the ports of call were Princess Cays (Bahamas), St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands), and Grand Turk. The food was wonderful and while the crowd was a bit older, we still met some interesting people. We plan on cruising again in the future...probably the Western Caribbean and Alaska cruises.

We wore shorts a couple days. It was not more than 60-70 degrees though. I think it only rained one day.

My parents are actually on a cruise right now as I type this.

They've never done a cruise before, so they're doing a short one to try it out. They left from Florida and are doing the Bahamas, Cozumel, and one or two other places. They're on a Carnival ship.

I don't know if I'd ever do a cruise. Some people swear by them, but I'm one of those people who likes to just get out and wander around the place, check out the local flavors, hit up interesting places, etc.
