Just took this out tonight, had so much potential.........some excellent games, that fact that you could burn games, emulators, etc. to use on it, and some very nice controllers (the best in my opinion besides PS). Unlike most others, I didnt give a damn about having a DVD player on my system as I already had multiple but I think that is the main reason that it failed. Anybody else have one? If so, what games do/did you play?

I didn't have one, but had/have a Sega Saturn (cool system with NO support) and a Sega Game Gear (with like 3 games).

  • I had one when it came out and was dying to play it a few weeks ago, but it had been broke for some time. So i bought one from a store disc replay(sells used cds, dvds, systems etc) for $30 and then returned mine and said the one i bought wasnt working right!

Anyways the Sonic for dreamcast is by far the bestttttttttt sonic ever created! I play the now. NBA 2k2 is another on of my favorites. I hate the new bball games for the newer systems they seem too odd and the gameplay sucks. Crazy Taxi 1 and 2 are also fun to play

im gonna play ncaa 2k2 soon when i get another vmu. THose are the memory cards that have a screen on em and show stuff while youre playing. anyone have one of those puppies?

Dreamcast is one of my favorite systems of all time along with N64

I dont think it failed cause of the dvd feature. No other system at the time had one. It wasnt for 1 1/2 years till ps2 came out and 3 when xbox came out.

Actually the Saturn was out earlier, and had some good games...you just couldn't find them ;)

Yeah, I got the TV adapter for mine. Was pretty cool while it worked...crapped out on me about 3 months after I got it.

Speaking of the Saturn: Here's one I always wanted but could never find, and would never pay this much for now :p

Virtus Tennis isnt just one of the best games for the system, its one of the best games ever. I dont even like tennis but just love to play this game, its so easy to pick up and play and its a blast with 4 players.

Anybody have any burned games or NES, SNES, etc. games burned for use on the system?

  • Much love to the ol' DC. Loved Crazy Taxi, Shenmue, Virtua Tennis, that airship RPG, Marvel v. Capcom, TOny Hawk 2, Soul Calibur, that Res. Evil game. Such a supernova of a system, burned out way too quickly.
