I stumbled upon this documentary tonight while finding information on a research paper.......
i'm not sure if i have cried so hard in a movie, especially a documentary, before.
it is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, and can be found on google video

its interesting... sad, mind-opening, jaw-dropping, tear jerking...
even though only about 7 minutes of it was relevant to my research paper it was a good use of time none the less...
its not like it is a surprise to me, what is going on.
but it does make me feel more disgusted with myself... as someone who isn't a vegetarian.
or is it a video about the meat industry and after I watch it I will not want to eat meat? I dont think I could sit through that, although I am informed about how terrible it is, I don't want to be reminded. I don't want to be thinking about that every time I eat meat for the next couple weeks

Rather than being birthed like a normal child, Chuck Norris instead
decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter
he grew a beard.
there are 5 parts: euthanasia, food, entertainment, clothing, and research.
a good portion of it is what goes on in slaughterhouses, how the animals are treated, etc. its definitely made me question what I eat.
if this bothers you, you may not want to watch it. though you can probably skip through those parts... because there are still other animal issues that it talks about that are very, very relevant.
regardless, its a must-see docu i think.
I watched this a few years ago and had trouble eating meat for the next week.....really gruesome video about meat industry.
