PJ at MSG event Dec. or Jan?

Ed alludes to an event for Brian Leach of the NY Rangers that the band had been contacted to participate in some time in Dec or Jan on the MSG II '08 boot.

Any update on this.... it is Dec.

    First off, it's Brian Leetch!!! Secondly, Leetch had his number retired January 24th 2008. I was there!!!! Anyways, I was also at both MSG shows, I don't remember him saying he was invited to anything by the Rangers organization.

    He did say #11 Brian Leetch. I slapped my forehead and was like #2!!!!!!!

    Yeah, they were trying to contact us. It happened 5 months before..Jan 24th

    Eddie was paying tribute to him at MSG II, but was pointing out the wrong jersey hanging from the Rafters. Ed was pointing out Mark Messier's.

    Ed was asked to perform/attend the Leetch ceremony but had prior commitments. Think that's what Eddie was referring to. Was in both the post and daily news the day after the ceremony that Vedder could not attend.
