Free Coldplay at MSG 1 day B4 PJ

I heard on the news this morning that Coldplay is putting on a FREE show at MSG June 23rd, one day before PJ's 2 sold out concerts & their highest priced tickets of this tour.

Wouldn't it be sweet if just once PJ would do something BIG BOLD and FREE like that?



Oh wait, we did get Irving Plaza ---- my bad.

    Who cares about Coldplay. Madonna is playing a free show at the Roseland with a capacity of 3500. That is a show. The minium price to get in is around 2k.

    Too much hate for Coldplay here.

    Their new album (not released yet) is pretty damn good, and they are an excellent live band.

    I'd say go check them out. Hell, it's free!

    Yep, i don't think 1 day will be nearly enough to clear all the toxins from the air before PJ takes over the building.

    I'm not afraid to admit I like Coldplay. I have all of their albums, have seen them in concert, and will definitely try to get tickets for the "free" show somehow.

    I think they're very talented. Yes, they generally play it safe and their setlists are all the same, but they are one of the few mainstream bands that I actually enjoy listening to. And, they're actually one of the very few bands that both me & my wife enjoy together.

    Now, that being said - my interest in Coldplay is nowhere near my interest in PJ...
