Yes
Im back again, but this time its basketball.
I have been very interested in this Boston vs Lakers finals series. I have never watched or been interested in basketball ever but its not alien to me as I learned it at school - like the bare basics.
I think its incredible the pace of the game generally and just the skill. SOme people do some amazing passes that i would never see, and just amazing 3 pointers, for example on the side nets where there isn't even any backboard. Maybe its because im new to the game i think all this stuff is exciting, still amazed. Like that Lamar Odom guy he is a big guy and he just weaved his way round and scored a shot. Oh yeah some sick dummies too!
Wondered if someone could explain to me how you get a get foul - so you get those free shots?
And whats with the rotation of players? can you field the same team throughout the game or do you have to change etc?
And whats the general hype of this about game? its the finals over a series of how many games? How does the league system work in the NBA.
Sorry for all the questions again, im a european! I actually want to understand more stuff that people say on this forum lol..
Also something that has gained my awareness is that none of the players have the ability to get off the floor by themselves...
Back to the last half!
GO LAKERS!

you know i dont even watch basketball
i dont even live in USA so i dont really know WHY im rooting for lakers. I think i used to play them on an old playstation 1 nba game. Was like Fisher, Green, O'Neil, Bryant and thats all i remember. As i thought they were the best so i just played them ha!
2) Basketball teams have 12 players, with the starting 5. The starting 5 are rotated in and out, but play the majority. Having a strong 'bench' (substitutes) is important!
3) Finals is 7 games. There is an eastern conference and a western conference, I think 16 teams make the playoffs, and they go down from there.
Hope that helps!
